Florida First Time Driver Course - TLSAE
Required for ALL first time drivers in the state of Florida, our 4-hour, 100% online Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE) course is approved by the state of Florida and covers all the required materials. This course must be completed before taking your DMV permit exam.
This course is also known as Drug Alcohol Traffic Awareness (D.A.T.A), Drug & Alcohol Course or Drug and Alcohol Class, and Alcohol Drugs Accident Prevention Training (A.D.A.P.T.)

Course Information
The Florida First Time Driver Course is divided into four 60-minute sections. The course focuses on the affect that drugs and alcohol have on one's ability to drive. The course contains pictures, media clips, and audio tracks that will enhance your learning experience. Throughout the course there are a number of short quizzes that test your knowledge on the material.
The Online DMV Permit Test is a two-part exam. The first part focuses on Road Signs, the second on Road Rules. Both exams consist of 20 Questions. You must correctly 15 questions to pass.
Completion Certificate
Once you have passed the TLSAE final exam, a DMV Exam waiver number will be issued to allow you to take the exam online.
